Easy Candy Corn White Chocolate Bark

Ingredients
  

  • 16 oz 450 g good-quality white chocolate, chopped
  • 1 cup candy corn
  • 1 cup mini pretzels roughly broken
  • 2 tablespoons Halloween sprinkles
  • ¼ cup orange candy melts or orange-tinted white chocolate optional
  • Small pinch flaky sea salt optional

Method
 

  1. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Measure all toppings before melting the chocolate.
  3. Break pretzels into irregular pieces.
  4. Leave most candy corn whole and roughly chop a small amount.
  5. Place white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl.
  6. Microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring after each interval, until nearly melted.
  7. Continue stirring until completely smooth.
  8. Pour onto the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  9. Spread into an irregular rectangle about ¼ inch thick.
  10. Immediately scatter candy corn over the chocolate.
  11. Add broken pretzel pieces.
  12. Add Halloween sprinkles.
  13. Melt orange candy melts separately.
  14. Drizzle lightly over the bark.
  15. Add a small pinch of flaky sea salt if desired.
  16. Refrigerate for 20–30 minutes or until completely firm.
  17. Lift the chocolate slab from the parchment.
  18. Break into irregular pieces.
  19. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container.

Notes

Prepare all toppings before melting the white chocolate so they can be added immediately. Avoid overheating white chocolate and keep all equipment completely dry. If coloring white chocolate yourself, use oil-based or candy-safe coloring. Don't overload the bark with toppings or they may fall off when broken. Store in a cool, dry place or refrigerate if your kitchen is warm.
