Ingredients
Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cut mozzarella sticks in half to create eight pieces.
- Combine melted butter, garlic powder, and half the Italian seasoning.
- Separate crescent dough into eight triangles.
- Place approximately 3 pepperoni slices over the wide end of each triangle.
- Add one mozzarella piece.
- If desired, add no more than ½ teaspoon pizza sauce inside each roll.
- Roll each triangle from the wide end toward the point.
- Place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Space crescents approximately 1½–2 inches apart.
- Lightly brush with garlic butter.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan and remaining Italian seasoning.
- Bake for 11–14 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
- Rest for 3–5 minutes.
- Garnish with parsley if desired.
- Serve warm with pizza sauce.
Notes
Keep crescent dough refrigerated until assembly.
Low-moisture mozzarella works better than fresh mozzarella.
Avoid overfilling the rolls.
Using pizza sauce primarily as a dip helps keep the crescent dough crisp.
A small amount of cheese leaking during baking is completely normal.
