Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Fresh parsley
  • Sesame seeds
  • Sliced red chili peppers

Method
 

  1. Prepare three bowls with flour, beaten eggs, and seasoned panko breadcrumbs.
  2. Coat each chicken thigh in flour, egg, and breadcrumbs.
  3. Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) and fry the chicken until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. In a small saucepan, melt the butter, cook the garlic briefly, then stir in the honey, hot sauce, and red pepper flakes.
  5. Simmer the sauce for 2–3 minutes.
  6. Brush the hot honey glaze over the crispy chicken.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds, parsley, and sliced chili peppers before serving.
