Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup milk

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a 12-cup muffin pan.
  2. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, eggs, brown sugar, granulated sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, and milk.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
  5. Divide the batter evenly into the muffin cups.
  6. Bake for 20 to 22 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Cool for 5 minutes before transferring the muffins to a wire rack.
